S.M.D. School (also known as "S.M.D. High School")is a school located in the heart of Srinagar city at Munawar-abad, India. SMD is a K-12, co-educational school. It has expanded to include a higher secondary wing.
S.M.D. School is named after its founder and Chairman Mr Sayeed Mustafa (Sayeed Mustafa Danishgah). SMD was formerly a high school imparting education from nursery to tenth grade but is now a higher secondary. The school has 500+ students.
The student body is divided into four houses, represented by colours. Each student is allotted one of these houses upon entry into school.
